YWCPA Alumni

Amber Jenkins

Attending YWCPA for the past four years has been a life-changing experience that has helped me grow both academically and personally. Since joining, I’ve had the opportunity to take challenging courses, be a student ambassador, National Honor Society Treasurer, and network and be mentored by multiple corporate organizations. YWCPA has taught me confidence, leadership, and resilience by learning to balance schoolwork with all the other factors in my life. Having attentive and hands-on mentors and advisors like Mrs. Rodriguez, Mrs. Douglass, Ms. Kelly, Mrs. Williamson, and Ms. Burrell has opened a multitude of opportunities for not only my high school endeavors but my future as well. I'm proud of the young woman I’ve become and incredibly thankful to be part of a community that I can rely on for the rest of my life. As a current senior I will be attending Texas Woman’s University completely debt free thanks to the resources YWCPA has provided for me. I am forever grateful for the network I will forever be connected to.
