All guests over the age of 18 must have a valid ID and sign in upon arrival. We can't wait to meet you and show you what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow.
Important Dates:
- 12/9: Application opens. Parents rank up to 10 choices in the application. To be considered in the lottery, applications must be submitted before the application closes. The date of application does not influence the result as long as choices are submitted before the application closes.
- 2/11: Application closes. All rankings and required documents must be submitted.
- 3/19: Parent Notification Day. Families offered one seat based on lottery results.
- 4/1: Deadline for families to accept the seat offered in Phase I
- Starting 3/19, parents will be able to apply for schools with space available. They will also be able to add themselves to a waitlist if a school is full.

School Choice Thursdays begin Oct. 10 and continue until Feb 6. You are welcome to tour any HISD Magnet schools on the following dates and times. Please contact individual schools before visiting to sign up for the tour.
All tours at YWCPA start at 1:00 p.m.
